"Yes, we can! This is what makes us true Lebanese. Year after year, crisis after crisis, we prove to ourselves and to the world our ability to rise above challenges and start again stronger than ever! The war is done, spring is here…We move on!
There is nothing better than walking among the vines, boosting our energy and mind with the blend of fresh blooms, new grass, flowering plants, and the crisp scent of morning dew! The vines are waking up with surprising speed, perhaps a little too quickly due to a drier winter… As we look ahead, we hope for a generous spring rain to restore balance to the vineyard and ensure a healthy cycle for the plant. Here’s to new beginnings and the beauty of resilience!"
Faouzi Issa /Winemaker, Managing Director
Our winemaker, Faouzi Issa, describes the 2024 harvest year as a standout year! Wondering why?
  1. Generous rainfall, moderated summer temperatures, and the absence of severe heatwaves in July and August created balanced growing conditions for grapes.
  2. The absence of rain during the summer and harvest season in the Bekaa Valley allowed for optimal grape maturation.
  3. High temperatures in June inhibited fungal growth and kept vineyards exceptionally clean.
  4. Alcohol levels were slightly elevated yet balanced by superb acidity, resulting in wines that are both fresh and vibrant.
What to expect from our 2024 vintages?
White wines with a crisp, refreshing acidity and Reds that show excellent aging potential, with smooth tannins and a vibrant color.
Looking ahead to the 2025 season, the dry winter presents a challenge. A dry winter means less water is stored in the soil to sustain the vines during the crucial growing months. This may lead to lower yields, smaller berries, and potentially more concentrated flavors.
Let's wait and see how the spring unfolds!

Back in the Spotlight: Domaine des Tourelles at Wine Paris
Our participation in Wine Paris was a great success and marked our first international event following the recent conflict and challenging period in Lebanon. We had the pleasure of representing Lebanese wines alongside our fellow Lebanese wineries.
This event is a great opportunity for us to meet our importers from across the globe, reinforcing existing partnerships, and exploring new market opportunities. Additionally, our masterclass moderated by winemaker, Faouzi Issa, was a highlight, allowing us to showcase the unique characteristics of our wines to an engaged audience.

We are thrilled to announce that Arak Brun is now available in several duty-free shops, making it more accessible to our international travelers! We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our exclusive distributor in the travel retail market since 2003, Vintage International, under the leadership of the owner Salim Farhat and his team, for bringing our products closer to our customers across the GCC.
You can now find it in:

Just last week, our winemaker, Faouzi Issa, visited the aniseed fields and was happy to report back the first signs of healthy germination—a promising start to the season. "There’s something deeply rewarding about watching these tiny seeds sprout", he says.
At Domaine des Tourelles, we’ve made it our mission to plant aniseed consistently every year, reinforcing our commitment to sustainable, local agriculture. By growing our own aniseed, we reduce reliance on imports—particularly from Syria—and contribute to strengthening Lebanon’s agricultural resilience.
For our winemaker, this crop carries special meaning. "Aniseed is at the heart of Arak Brun, and cultivating it ourselves means we control every stage of production—from field to bottle. This dedication ensures the purity, authenticity, and signature taste that defines our Arak."
We are honored to be featured in Jancis Robinson’s latest article on old vines selection, where our wines received outstanding ratings by MW Julia Harding. This recognition is a testament to the heritage and craftsmanship behind Domaine des Tourelles’ old vines selection.
  • Vieilles Vignes Merweh/Obeidi 2022 - Rated 17/20.
  • Vieilles Vignes Cinsault 2021 - Rated 17/20.
  • Vieilles Vignes Carignan 2020 - Rated 16.5+/20.
Furthermore, we are excited to announce our participation in the Old Vine Conference Trade & Media Tasting 2025 on June 17th at 67 Pall Mall, London. This event will be a fantastic opportunity to celebrate old vines and the extraordinary wines they produce.
