The Winemaker - Faouzi Issa
Run and directed by one of the few Lebanese winemakers - the young Faouzi E. Issa who is also co-owner of the Property. The winemaking philosophy at Domaine des Tourelles relies on a self-sustained process witnessing minimal intervention and allowing hence the production of naturally organic and vegan wines.
Domaine des Tourelles grows a various range of grapes, mainly Cabernet-Sauvignon, Syrah, Cinsault, Carignan, Tempranillo, Chardonnay, Viognier, Merweh, Obeidi and Muscat d’Alexandrie.
The harvest is done entirely by hand, with an initial selection made in the vineyards, followed by another at the winery.

Built with stone walls and wooden ceilings typical of traditional Lebanese architecture.
Old Concrete Tanks
This century-old impressive tank serves for the fermentation of our wines and even for the aging of some of them. A very old technique, the concrete vat protects the initial mineral aromas of the wine for the best expression of its terroir while it maintains naturally a relatively constant inner temperature. It is a real landmark of Domaine des Tourelles winery and a unique production signature.
Museum of Dust
Domaine des Tourelles is a "Museum of Dust", which encourages natural yeasts that give our wines their special character.
