"Spring at the winery represents a period of rejuvenation. Not only does nature awaken, but our team also spends less time indoors, immersing themselves in nature to prepare for the vineyard's lifecycle. Additionally, it's an ideal time to take advantage of the sunshine to execute our much awaited plan to transition from fuel-powered electricity to solar energy. Witnessing this step materialize fills me with joy, and I eagerly anticipate more positive initiatives amidst our challenging environment."
Faouzi Issa /Winemaker, Managing Director
It’s Springtime and the vineyards have started their annual growth cycle!
Lush green leaves are everywhere symbolizing the vitality of life. During these sunny weeks, we diligently engage in manual vineyard maintenance, weeding out wild herbs followed by soil plowing. It’s a cyclical activity ahead of the approaching budburst.
With the 2024 harvest season drawing near, we await with hopeful anticipation!
Green energy has transitioned from being merely an option to an imperative. We've recently initiated the installation of numerous solar panels, a move set to significantly diminish our winery's carbon footprint. This system will cater to our primary energy requirements, and we're eagerly anticipating its imminent operation!
Spot the new stone structure amidst our gardens. Overlooking the Tempranillo vineyard, it will host the forthcoming restaurant of Domaine des Tourelles. This venture will come to life next year, and we look forward to sharing more news about it in the months ahead.
Tourelles Rosé is always special! It has won the Lebanese rosé tender in Norway with a new blend of Cinsault and Syrah (50/50) that ranked number one among all other rosé wines participating from Lebanon. This rosé will be available soon across all the Norwegian market.
It all started in 2020 around COVID and following the Beirut port explosion, one of the most difficult years that Lebanese people had to ensure. Johanne, our art director, ready to start a new year with the hopes of a better 2021, created the design of our two very first limited edition bottles, “Adieu 2020” and “Confinés, Déconfinés”. Both messages resonated so well with the Lebanese residing in Lebanon and abroad and the bottles quickly sold out. This marked the start of a yearly tradition, creating a limited edition bottle to celebrate a new year and a new beginning.
And here is the latest series

The story of Domaine des Tourelles is unique. This April, a comprehensive article written by Matthieu Karam has paid tribute to our winery and its achievements in the columns of the famous Lebanese newspaper L’Orient-le Jour. Available in both French and English versions.
