Arak Brun is recognized for its unique taste and prestigious reputation. This most famous Lebanese arak is produced in the centuries-old Domaine des Tourelles, it is made of selected grape alcohol and fresh green aniseeds that distillate only the purest of spirits.
This exceptional distillation process is carried out in three traditional stages which make it absolutely free from the toxic substance “methanol” that usually appears in any inappropriate arak distillation. The crystal clear liquor is then allowed to rest in large old clay jars in the Property’s cellar. This artisan process gives the arak beautiful softness and enjoyable roundness on the palate.
